None of the courses have any of the pizzazz of the home Mario Karts. The actual game plays like "Ridge Racer Jr." essentially. Not really an effective way to replicate that at home. At most I can see them doing something similar on a handheld, but the machine operates like a timed photo booth upon sitting down to play. I don't know how they would replicate the NamCam system on a home console. One covers it up with a mask, one covers an opponent's screen with several copies of your avatar, one puts a mustache on the target's avatar, etc. There are also several items that effect the avatar in some way. This is used to see who hit who if you're playing against other humans. ![]() When you sit down in the chair and start playing, the game takes a photo of your face and uses it as an on-screen avatar. ![]() ![]() It sounds like you're just describing rumble and surround sound.
